Trekking - Hike - Senderismo - Lanzarote
One of the most emblematic and spectacular places in Lanzarote is the Volcanoes Natural Park. This special place and volcanic park is one of the great reasons that distinguish Lanzarote from the other Canary Islands. It is located in the center-west of the island, bordering the entire Timanfaya National Park.
This route of approximately 3 hours, has a low difficulty, suitable for all audiences and takes place within the limits of the Volcanoes Natural Park, where the most recent eruptions of Timanfaya took place during the period from 1730-1736. This long period of volcanic activity has ended up creating what is now called the Volcanic Park, giving rise to a landscape full of varied volcanic geoforms. Through the Valley of Silence, we will see ovens, caves, jameos and many other geoforms typical of this incredible and young landscape that we will only find in a few places around the world. In addition, during the route, our guide will help you interpret the different components of the space and will give you some interesting clues about the history and influence that volcanoes had and still have for the inhabitants of the island of Lanzarote.
